  11.       BOYAN 4.01 is a minor upgrade, offering the following enhancements and
  12.  corrections to BOYAN 4.0:
  13.  
  14.      -  The Script Learn feature, which can automatically  create auto-logon
  15.         scripts even after you have logged off from a system, now works more
  16.         reliably in "weird" situations.
  17.  
  18.      -  In the Directory File Manager, when the highlight bar is on top of a
  19.         directory  name, you may press <Enter> alone  to  switch  into  that
  20.         directory.
  21.  
  22.      -  In  an  external  protocol download, pressing <PgDn>  at  the  PATH:
  23.         prompt (why  would  you  want  to  do  that?!) no longer freezes the
  24.         keyboard.
  25.  
  26.      -  The Scroll-back buffer and Log to disk functions can now  handle PC-
  27.         Board's "magical self-erasing prompts" properly.
  28.  
  29.      -  Lines longer than 80 characters will be wrapped,  not  truncated, in
  30.         the scroll-back  buffer  and  log.    (An  exception to this rule is
  31.         during VT-100 emulation, if  the  "Wrap long lines" option is set to
  32.         NO.)
  33.  
  34.      -  Fixed a typo in Config Area A.
  35.  
  36.      -  <R>elaxed-Xmodem protocol  will now work as advertised on all brands
  37.         of computers.
  38.  
  39.      -  The macro commands  \B8+ and \B8-  now work properly.
  40.  
  41.      -  If you stop an  ASCII  download by pressing <Esc>, BOYAN now reports
  42.         "terminated" instead of "unsuccessful".
  43.  
  44.      -  The PURSUIT.BSC script file will  correctly  handle  all  Pursuit ID
  45.         codes.
  46.  
  47.      -  The ANSI-BBS module will report  cursor position on request from the
  48.         remote  system.    Some systems will issue this request to determine
  49.         whether  you  are  using ANSI.  It is still preferable  to  use  the
  50.         VT-100 module in such  situations,  however, so that you can use the
  51.         VT-100's secondary keyset (arrow keys, function keys, etc.).
  52.  
  53.      -  The  new  address  and BBS phone number for BOYAN Communications are
  54.         duly noted.
  55.  
  56.       This version corrects all known bugs found in BOYAN version 4.0.  Many
  57.  enhancements are currently underway,  including  support  for  new terminal
  58.  emulations, a password field in  the Dialing Directory, and DOORWAY (remote
  59.  operation) support.  Stay tuned!
